About The Event

Winner of the Grierson Award for Best Documentary at the BFI London Film Festival, Mother Vera is a portrait of a young nun confronting the shadows of her past. After spending two decades in an Orthodox monastery in Belarus, Vera decides to set out on a new path - now, she must trust her instincts to find the liberation she desires.
