AMPLIFY! FOUR BRILLIANT BRITISH FILM FESTIVALS DISTILLED INTO ONE 6–22 November

AMPLIFY! is an exciting programme of films being co-curated by four festivals  — Bath, Brighton (Cinecity), Cambridge, and Cornwall — bringing great festival films to a UK-wide audience. More that 50% of the films on AMPLIFY! are directed by women – which comes as little surprise since the founder of the F-Rating is one of the directors. The F-Rating Developed by FilmBath ’s Holly Tarquini in 2014, the F-Rating is awarded to films directed and/or written by women. If the film also features significant women on screen in their own right it is Triple F-Rated. The rating is designed to support and promote women and redress the imbalance in the film industry. There are over 80 film festivals and cinemas around the world who use the F-Rating to highlight films directed and/or written by women. Read more here. This year’s Triple F-Rated films on the AMPLIFY! platform Triple F-Rated documentaries include Interdependence: a collection of shorts weaving together humans to the planet.
