We're Hiring! Call out for Communications & Administration Coordinator

We’re recruiting for a key communications role within the charity, as both the voice of our mission’s marketing and outreach channels publicly, and supporting efficient connectivity and administration internally. 

Working directly with our Head of Audience Engagement, the appointed candidate will coordinate the delivery of our campaigns: generating content, and building interest and engagement with our films, events, and programmes, and talking directly to our audiences and advocates. 

This role involves supporting the governance of the charity: administering Board meetings, providing exec assistance to the Director, and coordinating the day to day operational systems by which our hybrid office runs. 

As well as being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will be someone with a proven passion for cinema and for social justice, and who is keen to bring their creative thinking, organisational skills and initiative to the team, as we collective work to further the impact of our mission to connect and grow audiences for films by filmmakers of all marginalised genders. 


Reports to: Head of Audience Engagement with dotted line to the Director 

Salary: £27,000 

Leave entitlement: 25 days leave plus bank holidays 

Start date: end August / September 

Probation: 2 months 

Tenure: Fixed term, to end March 2026, after which may be continued subject to funding/review.  

Hours: Full time / 38 hours per week 

Location: London, with flexibility to work partially from home. The team are required to work at least 1 day per week from our Brixton office and to regularly support/attend London events.
