Join the Reclaim The Frame Board

Help shape the future of gender equity in film.

Reclaim The Frame - an award-winning charity championing gender justice in cinema - is seeking new members to join our Board of Trustees and help drive our mission forward.

Celebrating our 20th anniversary this year, Reclaim The Frame began life as Birds’ Eye View Film Festival in 2005, founded to mark International Women’s Day in London. Two decades on, we’ve evolved into the UK’s leading campaign for gender equity in film, supporting underrepresented filmmakers and audiences, and transforming how cinema engages with inclusion and access.

Becoming a Trustee means joining a passionate community of advocates, creatives, and changemakers working collectively to make meaningful, lasting impact on - and behind - the screen at an exciting time in the organisation. You’ll play a vital role in shaping our vision and purpose, strengthening our reach, and ensuring our work continues to inspire a more equitable film culture.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from those with experience in:

  • Campaigning, influencing, and advocacy

  • Fundraising, sponsorship, and income generation

  • PR and communications

  • Film sales and distribution

  • Legal and governance

We actively encourage applications from people underrepresented on Boards and within the film and charity sectors, including those for whom this would be a first Trustee role.

If you’re committed to equity, advocacy, and the power of cinema to drive change, we’d love to hear from you. To find out more information and apply please refer to the Trustee pack here.
