goodbye and good luck to our director-at-large, mia bays 2016-2021

GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK, MIA BAYS

BIRDS EYE VIEW DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE (2016-2021)

“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader.” Dolly Parton

Today is an emotional day for us here at Birds Eye View (BEV) as we say goodbye to our much-loved Director-at-Large, Mia Bays, who is taking up her new role as Director of BFI Film Fund where she will continue to make a difference. Great leaders always make a difference.

Since taking over Birds Eye View (2016) and establishing Reclaim The Frame (2018), Mia has inspired and motivated us all with her work ethic, integrity, authenticity, ingenuity, depth, wit, warmth and unquenchable thirst for knowledge and self-improvement. Her collaborative, inclusive nature, and generous authority, gave us latitude and permission to make mistakes and grow – everything we needed to do the job well. We will uphold the principles she brought to Birds Eye View.

Goodbye Mia, and thank you. We are proud of what we have achieved together with you at the helm of Birds Eye View. You have been a great role model, leader and friend and you will be greatly missed in the ‘engine room’.

With love

 the Team
