Marjane Satrapi is an Iranian-born French graphic novelist, cartoonist, illustrator, film director, and children’s book author. Her best-known works include the comic book Persepolis and its film adaptation, the graphic novel Chicken with Plums, and the Marie Curie biopic Radioactive.
